Who doesn't have time? Trying to hyper optimize your time so aggressively that you can't bother with tiny chores is crazy



Consider the opportunity cost. It's not that we literally don't have time, its that we have better things to do with that time.

When we say we don't have time, it's usually just another way to say that we find other things to be of greater inportance.


This sort of hyper optimization of a persons life is a sickness

If you are at the point of cutting out "folding socks" because of the opportunity cost of that two minutes a week, you're fucked in the head


folding/sorting socks seems like a form of hyper optimization. Who cares, they're socks.
